What about the Leader's life?
You spend two years working with your Brownies, you get comfortable with the Brownie level, you know the Journeys, the badges, you've done Take Action Projects and gone on field trips, other leaders come to you with their Brownie questions. You've got this.
Then, suddenly, it changes. They're Juniors, new things to learn, new Journeys, new badges, bigger Take Action Projects, longer field trips, the Bronze Award. The girls (and the parents) may expect you to be just as comfortable and knowledgeable as you were with the Brownies.
It can be scary.
Thankfully, there are resources specifically to help the leader "bridge." GS of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois has developed guides for moving up to each level. They cover such things as:
